Important Notifcation Regarding Leap Second
On June 30th a leap second will be added to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) in order to synchronize atomic clocks with astronomical time to within .09 seconds. When a computer clock is synchronized with NTP servers with millisecond accuracy, the inability of the clock to go through an inserted leap second is an issue. Note that the actual time a customer experiences Leap Second will vary, depending on their local time zone relative to UTC/GMT. The actual variance can range from +14 to –10 hours.
